I haven’t been knitting much this summer (as I’ve been busy with trivial things such as working) but last week I spent some time rifling through my stash of half-finished projects that I hadn’t touched since I moved to Michigan. After much careful thought about which project to pick up, I decided on this kids’ strawberry purse:
I’m pretty happy with how it’s coming along so far. I did some work on the seeds, which is easy work but tedious. Now I think all I have left is to fix the strap and line it. I’m thinking about looking for some cute strawberry patterned fabric, but if I can’t find anything that works I’ll probably just go with standard red.
All I know is that I would have absolutely loved a purse like this when I was a little girl. Now hopefully I can actually finish this project before getting too busy and putting it back in the half-finished-projects box (a.k.a. where my crafts go to die).
